Does Not Point or Gesture (To show interest such as waving hello or goodbye)
Another milestone in the language is pointing. One of the earliest signs of autism spectrum dysfunction is not replying to the greeting especially “Hello” and “Goodbye” they do not even show interest in these two words. However,
ordinary children do show interest in such words. This is not a common symptom to every child since it may vary from a child to another. But what is common here is that they do not act like their peers. Usually, even their
families misunderstood what they wanted.
